In order to get the best performance from your CPAP/BiPAP equipment, it's very important that you keep it clean and in good condition. Here's what to do every day and every month.

WARRANTY QUESTIONS
Call us for warranty information on your particular piece of equipment if you think it has become defective. We also offer a convenient loaner program, in case you have to wait for product replacement.

1. Change Humidifier Water:

  • Change the water in your humidifier daily.
  • Be sure to use only distilled or purified water.

*CAUTION: DO NOT use tap water. Tap water will damage the unit.*

2. Clean Mask & Accessories:

  • Remove the headgear from the mask. Disconnect the mask and all parts including the tubing.
  • Gently wash the mask and accessories in a solution of warm water (less than 140 degrees F) and mild shampoo or dish detergent.

*CAUTIONS:*

  • DO NOT clean any parts of the system with alcohol, cleaning solutions containing alcohol, or any strong household cleaners.
  • DO NOT use any cleaners containing conditioners or moisturizers because these will leave a residue.
  • DO NOT USE BLEACH.

The nasal mask should last approximately 12 months when cleaned and maintained properly.

3. Clean Tubing

  • Clean tubing in liquid dish soap and water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.

1. Wash Headgear

  • Hand wash headgear with laundry detergent.
  • Rinse well and line dry.

2. Change Reusable Filters

  • Remove filter and rinse under warm water until the water runs clear.

* NOTE: If you are using DISPOSABLE filters, replace them monthly (throw the old filter away and install a new one).*
